They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life."We are consistently enriching the treasury of books in our school library. The library of HRGIS is well furnished and has a wide range of reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, fictions, non fictions, comics, autobiographies, Journals, magazines and news papers. All articles in the library are carefully scanned and selected to ensure the correct development of the students.

1) All students, teachers, and other members of staff can become members of library.
2) Silence and order must be maintained in the library.
3) Only one book at a time will be issued on appointed days for classes.
4) Every student will be provided a library card the books will be issued to you against your card only.
5) You will be given one book at a time on your card. You have to return the book after 3 days. If delayed, Rs 10/- fine per day will be charged.
6) A book which is in heavy demand may not be issued/reissued. A book needing repair or binding too may not be issued. Multi-volume book, Reference books, our-o print books, magazines are not issued out. Books marked as "For Consultation only" are also not lent out.
7) In case the book is lost or damaged while in your possession, you will be required to replace the book by a new copy of the same title and the latest edition. In case you are unable to procure the same from the market, may be allowed to pay the current price of the book as ascertained from publisher's catalogue along with postal charges.
8) No student should put any mark with a pen or pencil on any book of library. This spoils the beauty of the books and renders them unusable by others.
9) Students should return the library books 15 days before the examination. Those who do not return will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
10) No student shall deliberately misplace a book and make it difficult to locate.
11) When you are taking the School Leaving Certificate, you have to return all the Library books.
